Born from the Sea
LUFF was founded in Hamble, a coastal village in South England that's been at the heart of British sailing for decades, just a stone's throw from the Isle of Wight. Our chief designer Will, a sailmaker, saw the mountains of sail waste piling up in warehouses and landfills and figured something better could be done with it.
Fresh out of university, the three of us wanted to build something that actually mattered – not just another graduate job. We started LUFF to give these sails a second life, taking materials that have crossed oceans and turning them into bags for everyday adventures. Each piece carries the history of where it's been, and we're just getting started.
